I always thought Def Leppard were a bit poncy although Hysteria was not too shabby. I always prefered the Damned, Sex Pistols etc myself.
Never had any of the Yamaha, honda bikes/moped things as too many of my mates were killed on them in those days

For me, Def Leppard is down there with other bland radio rock from Aerosmith to Europe.
Sabbath, Purple, Rainbow, early Maiden & GnR, Kyuss & SD Cult more my kind of rock thing as I have a general preference for more discordant/ alternative tunes.
Suzie AP50 was THE first m/bike to have when I was teenage. Though I was far more into racing bicycles & boats back then....
In that power band, they aren't fragile at all if done correctly. The rest of the car needs upgrading accordingly of course, but that isn't just a LET thing. Any poor reputation associated with the LET/ Calibra Turbo is usually down to bodged attempts at tuning by the usual suspects.
A LET will floor a matching bhp V6 in a straight line.
