Looking for an inlet cam for a c20xe,can anyone help?

I replaced all the lifters during the week with ones from Autovaux
and i'm still getting a knocking noise on the inlet cam,so i'm
thinking that the profile might be out in one of the lobes.
I would like to try another cam to see if this cures it.

There is just the one knocking noise,the rest sound fine.

measure the lobes.
To still tap you would in theory be able to see which lobe has worn.


Are you sure all the lifters are getting fed oil properly?

The noise is coming from just to the right of the oil filler cap
I'll take off the rocker cover and check during the week.
