Stupid sunroof

Hi can anyone help it started with a broken motor replaced that with a new item and all was well for a week or so then I tried to put it down and I heard a clunk and one side stayed open it looks like the peace of metal that moves the lid has come out the runner is all twisted. Iv managed to get it shut for now but would like it working am I beter to just get a new unit or try n fix this one it's the twin cog type if this helps also does a tigra sunroof fit any info feed back would be great thanks

It's a 96 p reg the double cog type think I'm going to replace the lot now
