My V6 maybe going up for sale - Advice/opinions please

by martinb » Thu Nov 24, 2011 10:02 pm

Hi all, not been on here for awhile due to work commitments etc.
I am seriously considering selling my V6, but I want it to go to an enthusiast who will look after her.

She has had a lot of new parts fitted in the last couple of years.
What I would like to know from you guys, what value would you put on her?
Is it best to advertise her on the dreaded e-bay?
Would appreciate your comments

The only way they will go up in value mate is when the petrol prices drop

People look at the v6 and it puts them off

I loved my v6 it just cost me too much to run as a every day car

the only way a v6 becomes expensive as an everyday car is when you keep putting the pedal on the right to the floor all the time.

my 8v cost me just as much to run on a daily basis as the v6 did when i had them both. now i've just got the v6 as i wanted to have the bit extra power there when needed :D

Iagree with ally the v6 can be a thirsty one but it can also be a economical car, only this mth ive used a full tank with over 380miles on roughly 70 quid.but when you want to boot it you can.i would say you would get around the grand mark.
