Had a cracking drive through Europe last weekend!

10.00.am Rolled off the overnight ferry from Sardinia at Genova.

Lunchtime pitstop at Lake Como:

Finished the day in Rothenburg , Germany.
Great mountain pass , alpine driving with a few hours unlimited speed on Autobahn to finish. Luvvly jubbly :cool:

looks like fun, so why the trip then?? was it just out for a long drive or some propose to it all??

btw I am just arrived from similar trip as well (Milano - Venice - Maranello (incl Ferrari testdrive) - La Spezia - Genova - San Remo - Monte Carlo - Nice - Cannes - Genova - Como - Mendrissio - Milan) :)
But I was driving rented Lancia...

That looks a great route you took yourself - it's a cracking run from La Spezia through Genova and onto Coate D'Azur, if roadworks & traffic allow its probably my favourite in Italy. Quite keen on the first ( or last if entering, lol) 30kms on the Genova-Milano superstrada too...

Ferrari testdrive - tell us more! 8)

To keep it simple, I kid you not, I needed to take the car to DSOP near Hannover for some tweaking, drop in to see a potential Swiss client and catch a flight from Dusseldorf.

On this trip , other than a quick 140/145 blast to rid myself of a peskisome Golf, a need for tyre preservation meant I purposefully looked to keep below 120 on the bursts and maintained 90 while cruising.
The tyres have already done 10k and have another 12-1500 to do before they get changed to these:
