Just thought I'd say hello to everyone after registering on the site.

In the near future i'm hoping to get a calibra Turbo 4x4 was hoping someone could provide some advice regarding how much I should be looking at paying for one?

welcome to .net, it will all depend on the condition of the car. any decent one from £1500 upwards expect to pay more for a mint one :)

Welcome aboard.
As Ally has said £1500 'could' get you a turbo, but don't expect it to be a good one, unless you get lucky of course.
Good luck in finding one, I'm sure we will all keep our eyes peeled for you, and be here for any advice needed.

Wow £850 sounds like a bargain!

I must admit I can't really understand why calibra's are so cheap, I saw a redtop one go on ebay for £350 with tax and test! is there something I'm missing about these cars?

I'm actually based just north of Glasgow near Helensburgh on the naval base...

Thanks for all the greetings guys it is encouraging to see the forum is quite active contrary to what that guy was dripping about on mig. It's good to know in the future when I hopefully get a cally turbo there will be plenty of people about to offer advice :)

I may enquire about this one on mig http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/cars-sal ... bo-le.html

LE no.6, however as I said above he wants 1k more for an mot :s

If your interested offer to buy the Mot for him to see what/if it fails on. You could then pay the asking price and do any work required yourself to save the money?
