bit of a sad day yesterday...

by BazV6er » Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:26 am

bit of a sad day for the family today as we were awoke up around 5am this morning to hear tinas brother who lives down in weymouth and 2 months ago he and my sister in law had a bouncing baby but unfortunately he told us that early hours of the morning that last night he was looking after his 2 month old son and he said one minute he was sick and then had a job to breathe.so he quickly called ambulance and got them there they took the son into the intensive care unit but announced that they would have to turn the machine off as he was deterioting but it was too late they waited until the brothers mum arrived and then sadly turned the machine off..

now me and tina and her dad and 2nd wife traveled down to weymouth 90 miles there and 90 back to meet up with rest of family and support the brother and his wife so a busy day and a sad day we had losing a very young nephew:(

we have just been informed that they are awaiting for my nephew to be sent up to great ormond street for the post mortem to do checks etc ..and that the funeral could be 4-6 weeks away .... i mean how are my brother in law and wife supposed to live a life knowing that their dead son hasnt been put to rest.

Sorry to hear your tragic news.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with you & Tina and the rest of your family.
In tragic circumstances like this, you need your friends and family around you, no one can say anything to make you feel any better.
Hopefully they wont take long to do the post mortem and the baby can be laid to rest

Sad times
Jill

many thanks guys ,it will certainly be a hard one especially for the parents waiting in between the funeral and when the little man is put to rest .And they have to cope with this over the years to come and one of the worse things that my brother in law will have to face is knowing his little baby boy died a day before his birthday very sad indeed
