Rite i have been looking at insuring the dtm for summer, so i have tried the comarison websites and got a quote of £617 but thats social only and limited to 4,000 mile a year even with 5yr ncb. so i phoned up adrian flux who im already with and got a quote of around £1800 for the standard dtm turbo! but if i was willing to modify it in any way i will be looking to pay around a cool £600 8-) with 10,000mile limit and social & commuting. I was told its because people with modified cars tend to look after them alot more and dont crash as much! so im off to go and buy myself a k & n pannel filter! First time i have been pleased as hell with modified insurance :D

Ahh but it starts with a K&N filter and you'll getting the modding bug. I woulda paid the higher value and kept it standard, save you a fortune in the long run

Ive got the bug alright, but nothing ive done (almost) can be put back to std easy enough. Mainly engine bay, alloys, exhaust. So outside it looks fairly original.
I refuse to put a body kit on it.

my turbo's with them too, just seems each year you'll get a better deal from different places, 16V is with Greenlight but they could not match AF
