Fair Point!!!

I gave mine a good clean yesterday with some Carby Cleaner and a Wire Brush, and now I'm having second thoughts about painting them... :think:

I powder coated mine as I take the cover off when I'm driving as iv had 3plastic covers paint melt and don't want this one to go the same looking good Rob, Eddy how long do you think yours will stay that clean ? Paint or powder coat will be easer to clean when there on the car

i prefer them powder-coated as well much easier to clean with a soft brush

Obviously the Rear Metal Cover is out of sight, so painting it is not of any concern to me... As long as it stops the Oil Leaking...

As for the Front Cam Cover... I'm still open to the idea of using the Original Plastic Cam Cover, and keeping an eye on the progress!
I noticed something distinct the last time I replaced the Gasket on the Rear Plastic Cover, so I'll see if what I have in mind will work!

But if I was concerned about how clean the front cover would stay, then I'd most certainly be painting it Black!!! :shifty:
