traction control...... on or off?
I know its meant as a driver aid but is it actually usefull, does it sap power at all?
Im not exactly a boy racer but i do like a "spirited" drive now and again

Don't have it, Don't need it.
When i DID have it I had it switched on unless i was on the way to get new front tyres then i had some smokey fun.

to be honest it wouldnt bother me, like Andy says if i really want to spin up my tyres i can.

Going into and around them is fine, but power out of a wet corner with the load over the outside wheel and the inside tyre will spin up very very easily. V6 calibras are known for trying to go in a straight line when cornering fast/tight (on std suspension that is)

Stiff shocks can be worse in the wet.
I'd personally leave it switched on, unless you want to destroy your tyres.

ok, on in the wet off in the dry. but seeing as its wet 99% of the time in this country i might as well leave it permanently on

mine works and its on all the time unless i want ti leave 11's down the road without it my car would be pritty hard to keep on the road
