Started the engine strip :)

by Rob-se9 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 8:54 pm

Hi guys and gals. I finally got started on stripping the engine down. As i took the engine cover off i found mouse poop near one of the spark plugs. As there's a hole in the sound deadening i bravely desided to investigate 8) and what i found under there was an old mouse nest  . I really hope there's nothing under there as ill be screaming like a 9 year old girl if anything fell out :( lol .

common problem with the v6's mate, invest in a set of vectra cam covers its the best way to solve the cam cover leaking

Get the mice to get started undoing some of the bolts or nibble through a few cables. Charge them rent to pay for the rebuild. I'm waiting to see how many bodies are recovered once the sound deadening comes off :axed:
