RAGING!

Some of you may have seen the Se9 for sale on here, was previously advertised by a chap called Harvey on .com etc
Anyway bought it, needing a waterpump as it was leaking/noisy, fitted a new water pump this afternoon, nice easy job I thought, and was well pleased, sadly however it appears one or both the head gaskets have gone!!!!

Had my suspicions when I bought it, bloke was convinced it was fine/ wouldn't do that to a member etc, even the wife giving it, two mechanics have checked it blah blah blah, So I figured, I'd take a chance and it's well and truly been a waste of time, it's a shame as it looks/drives lovely for it's age/miles etc
Dunno what to do now, was meant be a cheap/retro daily for my other half when her Alfa Spider gets sorned.

Here's it's problems,and see what you reckon?

1. Struggles to start ( as if compression is low) takes ages when cold, better once warmed up
2. Very poor heating
3.Takes ages to get upto temp
4.Rad hoses are rock solid (happens very quickly)
5. Lots of compression in header tank
6.Pushes water out header when revved
7.Sounds a bit lumpy
8.White Smoke
9.Drinks water

So yeah deffo Head Gasket me thinks

you could confirm that easily enough...compression check or even the sniff test using the colour changing liquid
