Ok.. i fix though.. only £30 for another bonnet and £70 for the windscreen premium..

The bodyshop was offering me some kind of arrangement to write the car off.. yeh sure what else am i going to get under 2K thats sorted and got the feel and features of this motor.

Where did you get the windscreen supplied and fitted for £70 ? I need one for my V6

that was the insurance premium was £70, the insurance company pays the rest. I think you can get windscreen done for £200 odd around glasgow area.

Can you believe it was a new bonnet i fitted before i pranged it.. pristine...for £45... first 10 minutes on the road in a year ..yeh lets go..back to the old calibra.. this is going to be the years where I have no problems..everythings sorted now.. accelerate... BANG ! couldnt see anything at 70mph..

cally bonnets dont fall back down after this.... it kept banging into the window on the drive home.. had to stop the car, put it back down about three times til i realised driving at 8mph was ok.. as long as no wind...felt pretty stupid for a while. :doh:

after the "accident" another one came on ebay..same color, ordered.. Week later, no bonnet arrived, then took almost a week to talk the scrappy owner into sending it, as it needed some fixing up.
