Im planning getting a sports steering wheel for my cally but the one on cally has airbag but the sports wheel hasnt,would it make any difference if i put sports steering wheel on when it hasnt got air bag?

your air bag light will come on but you can easly take the builb out, i would think most of our cars with airbags wont work now unless they have been serviced at some point

cheers bud i wud prob need to disconnect battery before fittn the sports steering wheel cos of the airbag?

the light will still come on once you put the battery back on

its a mot advisory i think if the airbag light is on (if i have remembered correctly) but there is things like the abs light on is a mot fail. just be carefull when removing incase it goes off (never seen one go off by accident) and when not connected to anything as IT IS GOING TO HURT!

the air bag light isnt an advisory at the mo but it will a fail come april, iv never heard or seen a bag go off that isnt connected and iv kick one up and down the drive but wouldnt want to be on too close to one if it did
