theft damage
Hi Guys,
I'm new to this board, and would be glad of any help that you can give me.
I have a 94 (Lreg) 2.5l V6 Calibra which I have had for the last 14 years. I've not used it for the last year for a number of reasons, and I moved it to the pub I run to store, from where it was stolen last week.
It was recovered etc... however it has sustained some damage the front piece of the barrel from the ignition has been sheared off I think, and although I have the key it will not budge it and the steering lock is on so I can't move it.
Any advice on how I can remove the steering lock and get it going, so I can get it repaired?
Thanks for any help.

Re: theft damage
Thankyou for the above but...
I'd rather let a garage do the stuff like changing the ignition etc, I just want to get it started, so I can get it to a garage have the ignition fixed and use it. As it was in storage abeit not secure enough, i didn't have it insured hence I have already paid out over £200 to get it recovered etc..
is there any other way to get it going without damaging anything else?
thanks
