Replaced tired numberplate lamp covers.
Tried bleaching them over the years but it still wasn't perfect.
Now it's heaps better.

Especially on a white Calibra... ;)
But these are a must have, if you've not recently done so...
I just ordered another 2 sets, a week ago...

Last night I transplanted my old bump strips.
Thinking of going back to black.
Black vs white. Thoughts?

If Im honest, the black strips break up the white a bit and I always did like the white and black colour scheming.
Im heading towards going back to black!

I think it's one or the other Samarai , as in all white or all black , the white door trims with black bumpers aren't doing it for me sorry :( I'd go all white seeing as your door handles have been done .

Thanks for the feedback mate, I'm facing quite a dilemma of which way I want to go.
Currently I'm trying black again.
Will see how I go.
White does look more shick for sure.

- My Custom Factory Foglight Replica Install -

Yesterday with the help of a mate, I retrofitted BMW projectors in the blank fog light spot in my headlights.
My intention was to use them as DRL's for my own safety, driving in overcast weather and to stop people pulling out into me at intersections and when merging lanes etc.

My phone can't handle so much brightness hahaa, Low beam HID's, halogen DRL's

I was stoked that with little modification that the BMW projector fitted although there wasn't much room to work with.

I was scratching my head as to what to do, and I was trying to be delicate whilst drilling the blanks out. Bloody thick pieces of s**t!
Stoked with the result, looks factory and doesn't scream "Cops look at me I'm modified".

Currently I have them wired up to a wireless remote that I can wirelessly adjust brightness, and make them flash/strobe (more of a fun trick to show at meets) :P

--------------------------------------------

To Do List:
-Clean up white plastidip residue around bump strips and re-forever black. (Decided to go back to black for now) Im secretly enjoying the factory freshened look ;)
-Adjust headlights (low beams and high beams aren't aligned vertically properly yet)
-New tyres, but as for 18" rims I've always wanted, for now I'm saving up for the colourcoding paint job for my Merc.
-Detail the cali

Cheers lads, was a job and a half to get this mod done but worth it all, not sure if it's been done on a calibra before actually.
True I just HAD to resort to Hid's for low beams the cali lights are terrible!
