Update time!
So it's been 3 months since the car was on the road but so glad to be dailying this
Plan was to get the front shocks swapped over to new and new pads all round. Got round to doing the pads and oil and oil filter change and moved my old tow bar from my parts Calibra to my good one. Front shocks might have to wait for another day.
Here's some pics.

Tow bar installed, to keep people from parking too close and hitting me and also for some more rear end lows

Forgot how good my sub and driving manual was! :')

Day 2 of having her back on the road the flasher relay died. But thankfully the relay from the parts car plugged straight in. Boom!

Image

Next up I mixed and matched the door cards between the parts car and my good cali. I went with the black leather bottoms from the parts car (over my old cloth bottoms) and kept the tops to match my cloth seats. Love the feel and look of the interior now.

Oh I also forgot I did some LED work while the car was off the road.

Strips in the footwells that come on and off with the open and closing of the doors. Very handy to find things when dropped on the floor at night.

Persian carpets!! ;)

And I also put some on the bonnet to light up the engine bay to make life easier for night time oil level checks etc.
Handy and cool

It's like daylight!!

And that's all for now.
My ld window spoiler to go on soon. And window tint.

Thanks for reading guys.

Latest progress.
From stock Holden badge I had stuck over the top a ground down open keyring key chain, and last night I popped out the original and stuck in the Opel badge. Sitting flush now! Yay!

It's been a while but it's update time!

-Window tint (darkest legal)
-Chucked on my old calibras rear window spoiler (seems to not be stock but something aftermarket but that's alright because it's something different and stops rain getting on the rear windshield which is maad) :)

(Before - Pre tint)
Image

(After - Post tint + rear window spoiler)

And in other news I bought myself another Calibra. Hahah
It was cheap and had heaps of extras so that was a plus but overall I got it because the body was clean and paint was great. The plan is (with the assistance of experienced mates) to swap my ol' really low kilometres+new clutch manual 16v engine from my parts Calibra (white) and drop it into the new dark blue beast which is an auto 8v and convert to manual.

Image

I'll be taking this as an opportunity to really learn how to work with cars. With the assistance of an experienced mate, we'll be doing a major overhaul swap. Can't wait to expand my knowledge on cars. I've done oils, coolant, spark plug servicing, car painting, stereo and LED Work but never major engine/gearbox drop and swap so I'm keen for the experience. Will start a new thread on the blue Calibra to keep track of things and memorabilia but of course will keep this thread going for the red cali!

Thanks for reading and as always stay sexy! :P

Update time.
So today the red cali donated her rims, plates and rear window spoiler to her younger sister!

I'm loving the new look and feeling red cali. Having the higher profile tyres off the blue cali she drives over bumps smoother and the wheel arch gap has been closed a bit!
Winning!
I am loving the clean rear window look again :)

That's all for now peeps.
Thanks for reading!

Hey everyone.
Tonight I finally got round to replacing the broken drivers side door handle spring. Feels so much better having resistance when pulling on the handle [SMILING FACE WITH HEART-SHAPED EYES]

Image

Image

I guess the drivers side door handle, being used the most has the spring flex and after many years break. Was the same on my parts Calibra. But I just grabbed the spring from the passenger side, and boom boom we're in action :)

I also took the opportunity to touch up some of the paintwork. Looking good now!

Image

Thanks guys,
Hope ya'll are looking after your calibras :)
