As said above, that's pretty much all there is to it (didn't need to swap the sump in my case as I fitted a Z32SE).

I also did thermostat, timing belt & waterpump while the engine was on a stand (so much more pleasant to do that way).

I did fit an F28 with mine though, never did get on with the F25 so if funding permits I thoroughly recommend it. There's a bit extra to do in order to accommodate the F28 & a few parts needed but I can provide details of that if that's something you're interested in.

Got down to the oil cooler to find the reason the original car (Omega) was broken, failed oil cooler which i was informed of this problem when i originally bought the engine, pop a new one in problem solved.

Will be replacing both head gaskets, water pump, etc anyway

Got new GM water pump ready to be fitted, going to clean the thick mayo type substance left from the failed oil cooler

Washing powder works, we need it to Baz's V6 and it cleaned it all out.

Put it in the header tank when the engine is running and keep changing the water until it is clear.

Sorry if I'm being a bit stupid or missed something but are you replacing a v6 with this one or is this in place of a 4 cyl?
