subs advice

im looking at putting 2 10inch 300w subs in the car what sort of amp would i need to use to run these, looking for something black and yellow or black and chrome looking any idears

what type are they look for the rms and ifyou will need an amp that will run @ 2 ohms

you need a mono amp @ 2 ohms able to put out about 400 RMS but i could be wrong

Simple guide lines really rich are check the ohms of the said speakers ... 2ohm speakers require a mono amp to run them.
4 ohm speakers are on regular amps.
You want to also be aware that its not the power output thats important but the rms power output on the speakers that you need to match to the amp you choose.
You want an amp the is around 80% the rms per channel of the speakers to ensure you dont kill the speakers if you get a spike in audio level.. Either that or match the rms per channels but keep the amp power output at around 70% output.
Speakers tend to perform better at this level and flop out over that with poorer sound quality and coils that break up alot quicker!!
This is how ive always done it from day 1 and its given me good results
