Spent an other hour or two in the garage i got the bonnet , 1 wing and 1 side skirt off and was stunned not to find any rot under the side skirt all solid steel just a bit dirty and some surface rust no big deal so it would seem am getting lucky with this project at this current rate she should be in paint by Dec / Jan and ready for the road spring 2017  which would be perfect and as soon as she is done i will have to sadly say good bye to my silver cally as i don't have the space to keep both

Found an old picture of the se2 which was taken on the day i bought her back in Aug 2008

Update time so i finally got the yellow mixed up for the car been waiting 3 weeks for the lead free 2 pac paint coming from Germany worth the wait tho i was up bright and early today waiting outside the paint shop to collect and wasted no time getting the paint on the engine bay and for being an amateur when it comes to painting i think the finish is spot on if i do say so my self lol but i will still leave the rest of the car for a paint shop tho

I even found a set of club mats that Steve had made up year's ago brand new still in the bag. So here we go the se2 will live again

I hope that you will have the opportunity to avenge one of these days because what they did to you is really not correct at all...
