Most people here that own Vauxhall Monaro's re-badge them as Holden.

Pehaps that might be due to the Fact, that they are Holdens...

Holden in Australia, don't even take any Calibra related enquiries,
so can you blame us for wanting to restore the car's Original Identity???

The way I see this is...

According to the VIN on my car, it starts with a W0L which indicates, that the manufacturer is OPEL...

Are the first 3 letters on the Calibra's in the UK not starting with W0L also???

End of the day.. its whats underneath the bonnet and the heritage we pay for. the badging is either original or modernised.

UPDATE TIME!

I decided to use forever black on the bumper and door trim! The current grey was getting on my nerves.. it was looking really dull and showing its age. I always wondered would black look nicer and I decided to test a small area first and that turned to all skirts and trim getting the forever black treatment!

It looks much better now! much more refreshed and sheek!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was the first area I tested on!

After.. I decided it looked so good that the rest of the car was going BLAAACK!

Roof Racks before..

Roof Racks after! much better in black!

The rear had the most faded strip..

I don't have more pictures during as when I did the work it was getting closer to night and was too dark! but this gives you an idea!
I love the overall look of the car now! I do recommend this to anyone who wants to make their cali younger.. from the dull grey to the fresh black!

Exactly Eddey, that one of the reasons I decided to debadge my cally. I might badage it as an opel down the the track, it must be an opel take a look at the engine cover it has the lightning bolt in a circle on it.

Nice work Samari,
The finish looks professional and the black bump strips, spoilers, and roof rails contrast well and complement the white body. :)

PHOTO UPDATE!

I went on a cruise with a mate of mine! He drives a 1.6L 16v Ranault Megane Convertible Coupe.
What do we think of his car?

Here are some of my best shots from today!
