Im now using motul synergie+ 6100 10w40. I have finally fitted oil temp sensor, drilled oil sump plug :).

Image

Led in my gauges were bad and i had to change them, I also fitted yellow plastic bag to make all gauges look white-ish since boost gauge is fitted with warm white leds but egt and oil leds are cold white. Cold white were bad and started blinking so i changed them with better quality ones but couldn't find warm white so bag did its thing ;). Earlier i also changed red needle leds with quality ones.

First time ive mounted them, its clearly visible that boost lights different...
Image

Then led in my dials went bad :( started blinking so i changed with better ones which are warm white even tho ive ordered cold ones :(

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

In the end ive got reverse cam, im gonna drill rear bumper just for the lens i dont care bout those leds around it :). It has 420TV lines, wide angle of view, mirror image and parking lines...

Ive decided to upgrade my "styling" :)

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Opening the ecu

ImageImageImageImageImage

Replacing standard chips with EDS Phase 2

ImageImageImageImageImage

She was struggling under high boost so i decided to check fuel pressure and it was very bad. Found out i have chinese fuel pump, very bad contacts and awful wiring. Clean contacts were measured 11.6v with new ground, fuel pump relay was 14.3.

ImageImageImageImageImage
Image

I have added another + from relay to the fuel pump, 2.5mm2 wire and pump was much louder :). Car drove much better but still some struggling between 4-5k rpm. I have swapped FPR with modified bosch to 3.5bar but haven't got time to measure the pressure. Anyways my next step is to buy another fuel pump.

ImageImageImageImage

I'm thinking of buying walbro 255 external to replace this junk. In the meantime i will use bosch from 8v just to test it out when i get time to swat those two :)

After few months of missfire at wot and high rpm i realized my plugs were 1.1mm and not 0.6 :). I never thought it was a missfire since i never got exhaust firing. Also i got new leads and sparks. I was sure my sparks were 0.6 ive bouht it by EDS recommendation. One day after reading on many forums for like 999x that someone had bad gap ive checked my spark specs and was happy to solve my problem ;). In the meantime ive tried bosch fuel pump from my 8v then i got walbro and it was still missfiring. Since i got chinese fuel pump in the first place walbro turned out to be great investment :P. Fuel pressure is now 3.7Bar on idle...

Swapping oem bosch with walbro

And one testing video, runs awesome!1!!!

I've bought some parts off Webboy's Calibra, FMIC etc...

First ive shortened ignition coil lead.

Headlight leveling and switch with white LEDs

FMIC

C20XE radiator

Ive got modified viscous coupling and renewed TXB.

Then I began installing FMIC

Cutting crash bar and replacing servo fluid cooling pipes

ImageImageImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage

Then I realized there is EDS pdf for dummies so I replaced servo fluid cooling pipes above oil radiator. Then washed everything

ImageImageImage

It fits like this

ImageImageImage

Then trimmed front bumper a bit :). Pipes will wait for few months :)

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Some pictures of Webboy modifying TXB, replacing viscous coupling oil with more densely silicone one, so more power will be transfered to the rear wheels. Picture of servo oil pressure gauge :)

He gave up on his cali so lots of good rare and unused parts were sold...

Shaft looks bad, im sure he changed it since he had few TXB's, gotta give him a call. Im not sure will i ever mount that :), friend crashed his calibra and I thought its nice to have that txb in my garage? So good question, do I really need more power to the rear and what do I get? Did he really need servo fluid pressure gauge :)))) its Webboy and his awesome ideas....

I did cheap WG mod by adding old, dirty and rusty spring :). Theres MUCH MORE BOOST now! It went to 1.3bar and i thought it was too much since i experienced slight spluttering. Boost gauge needle was shakey. I was worried so i lowered the boost by adjusting WG. Then i got mail from EDS stating that it should hold 1bar and overboost to ABOUT ~1.3bar on phase 2. Realized i got disconnected vacuum pipe (probably due to higher boost then usual). I secured small pipe and no more spluttering, boosting is awesome and very fun again. It will feel usual in a few months as always, but now its damn fast :).

I've found loose hubs holding the turbo, 2 are missing, im the one who screwed them (if you know what i mean), never thought hubs could get loose. Also missing screws on the exhaust side right on the turbo manifold.

Then i decided to play with my hood, paint got chipped and i didnt wanna just paint it...
