12mm chrome strip,i noticed recently it seems
to be the in thing with alot of the new vauxhalls
so i thought i'd give it a try.i think it looks the part

i'm with Steve on this one mate not that keen on it. but i've got a "black" roof so what do i know as well :lol:

I did the same to mine a few years ago after trying it in photoshop. Enhances the lines nicely. Not OTT, all over the car and only works with some colours.

it i would peel it off,but i'm quite impressed

Eddie i took it off last year because it was all matted
and looked a bit unsightly,so i'll be keeping it off

I thought about removing it...

But it get's pretty HOT under the V6 bonnet, so I decided to leave it there...

But I certainly have to Polish up around it... :dance:

that would be a reason for taking it off, its just a blanket which will keep the heat in

Removed mine years ago because of this
1995 Orange 16v Ecotec

Mods are coming along nicely

It's actually sound deadIng, and vibration damping nothing to do with heat retention....why would you want to keep heat in when hot air causes all kinds of problems under the hood
