Thanks Mate! ;)

The change in Handling Stability, and Overall Smoothness was instantly noticeable!

I already have the 'Top Mounts & Bearings' plus some 'Polyurethane Bushes' for the Sway Bar Links, to fit as well...
I'm just awaiting on the 'NEW Front Shocks and Springs' so when they get here, they'll all be done pretty soon!
I'm also hoping to fit a nice alloy V6 'Front Strut Brace' under the bonnet!

I'm pretty excited about the change in smoothness, over them bumpy roads! ;)

Fraz wrote:your next move should be to change the Donut Bush on the rear subframe, as I bet they are well worn... Nice car and good work

Thanks for that Tip, Mr Fraz

I've been hearing A Rattling sound, coming from the Rear End...
Maybe the 'Rear Axle Bushes' are now Kaput, after all these years!
The Bush is in Position Number 2 on the Diagram...

UPDATE: Donut Bushes checked @ 173,723 Km and found to be still in VERY Good Condition
With that Part checked off, I later discovered the noise, and made the Video in the link Below...

Replaced both the Pollen Filter and the FPR

by EddeyDancer » Tue Jul 26, 2011 8:28 pm

Replaced the Pollen Filter, and the Fuel Pressure Regulator!

As these Parts are rarely even looked at, I decided to replace them both!

The Results of replacing both of these Parts was Immediately noticeable!
The 'Air' now flows through the vents alot stronger, and also obviously much cleaner!

As the Fuel Injectors need cleaning every few years, I thought why not the Replace the FPR
The results of replacing the 'FPR' with a New 3.8 Bar FPR, have also been VERY Impressive!
I can certainly hear and feel the difference, in the fuel delivery and throttle reponse!!!

I wasn't sure if there'd be any benefits in changing these, but the Outcome is Positive! ;)

I changed the pollen filter on mine as it looked like your one eddy and cleaned the drain to the engine bay out.
The car smells less of dead cats now,

I've had 'The Ghost' for 8 Years, and I'm pretty sure this Filter has never been changed...
Even though it may say it has been changed, on the Service Report Coupon...

As it's out of sight, who would even know of it's Condition???
Now I know how easy it is to do, I'll replace it more frequently...

The Air Filter was due for a replacement, so I thought I'd give this a Go!

I've recently been reading up a fair bit, on the various High Performance Air Filters!
The main options were GM Standard, BMC, OBX, Pipercross, K&N and Simota Brands!

The One I bought is the Blue 'Simota' Brand and it seems to have made, a reasonable
improvement in regards to the Air Intake! It had been some time since I last replaced
the Air Filter, and the Old Standard one that I had in there, had to Go!!!

But as always, a New Filter is always better than an Old One!

At least this one can be cleaned anytime, as is re-useable
