Got round to repairing the rotted out rear bumper brackets yesterday, the noise of the bumper rattling was sarting to bug the hell out me...

Not a bad job, got hold of a strip of ally from B&Q costing only £5 and basically made a new bracket to the shape of the old one... not the best pics but you get the idea... should last a little longer...

Right took some better photos of the brackets, all complete and in place... simple repair that should last for a while...

Fitted the bonnent extension yesterday, just need to get some filler on it to get it looking flush and then I'm going to get the bonnet wrapped in carbon fibre effect...

Made the most of my day off yesterday and the good weather and got the rear brakes sorted out... The old ones still have some meat left on the pads but the discs were looking tired and since I had picked up a bargin on ebay a month or so ago (Drilled and Grooved second hand disc for £10) I thought I would get the new discs fitted with some new pads... forgot how much of a pain it was doing the rears... Handbrake had to be adjusted which always causes me a headache lol... Calipers were also painted but I forgot to get a phot of them at the end, Doh...

I knew someone would notice that... I relised that after I had finished... to be honest though I dont think it matters, I had a set fitted on my last Calibra like that for a year and never had a problem... I will get round to changing them over at somepoint, for now though I really can't face having to strip it all down and do the handbrake again...

Well not much has really happened to the Calibra in the last couple of months since I last updated this thread... Have managed to get round to changing the torn interior panel in the back and while I was at it decided it would be worth fitting my old JBL speakers from my last Calibra :) still sounding good for 4 years old...

Stripped...

Been a slow year, maybe some more things will get done over the winter as the car isn't going to get used much in the bad weather... which reminds me... I need to get two new tyres sorted...
