So you dont use it then? get rid I say, up tp you though, but I still think this is one of the nicest calibras I have seen here, I would love a turbo that looked like that.

Nope its never been used, doesnt do any harm where it is and it makes the rear stronger if some1 decides to get to close! lol

Got it on German ebay mate, after a few tips from some of the guys on here. Try searching for opel heckblende.

Bought a 4 branch manifold from Friedrich motorsport for the Calibra but had probs with the downpipes as they were for a later model Calibra with a 2 piece sump, did a bit of custom work to them at my work and finally got it fitted today, and made a complete custom stainless system at work for it as well, very pleased with the noise now! Heres some pics.

I have just wet my pants!!! so.... is it worth the money? performance increase? smoother? does look good...

where did you get the heat shield from?

I would have to be honest and say it was worth the money for the looks and sound, I think the acceleration is sharper and definately alot smoother, engine seems to rev far more freely now. Heatshield is from Courtenay mate, for a redtop but fits the eco as well.
