well the tracking is all spot on :band: and she was only a tad out 19 mm drivers side and off the scale pass side :oops:
while he was under it he checked all my handy work and just nipped up the lower arms for us,the thing i did do wrong was the top mount nuts, instead of the thinner nut above the plate and the thicker one below it i did it arse about face :oops: that might be the reason its knocking on big bups on the drivers side.or i just forgot to tighten the oooje nut that keeps the shock in place.

well i had a look the weekend and the only part i havent replaced has bloody failed :evil:




drivers side wheel bearing :banging: as much as i love it i fecking hate it at times

all was fine on saturday i replaced the steering wheel for a 3 spoke veccy one
sunday went for a blast and............ the se3 isnt in good shape i was sitting at the trafficlights went to pull away but never did :( first i thought it was the clutch cable but nope its got full movement my other problem is it now constantly overheats and only runs on 3 pots

so i think the ashtray needs emptying :lol:

its an 8V takes about an hour to get the head off, check for distortion, new head gasket and rebuild ....start it at 10am be all done by lunch time

i know what it is and how to do it Fraz :roll: the head is off it will need a skim (then again even if it didnt it would get one anyway)
as for the clutch hummm maybe i can get one before the weekend :think:

why would it need a skim???? has it been cooked, Iknow you said it overheats, but to what degree, should only skim a head if it is really needed ...and thats why i said check for distortion, flat edge (metal rule)check at various points over the head using a set of feeler gauges
