Looks really tidy. I need to do something with the wear and tear on mine.

It has some wheel arch welding to be done as it won't pass mot like it is, so I have repair panels ready to go salvaged from an old DTM.

Then I have a long list of jobs to do to get it how I want her but important things first.
What do you mean?

Its undergoing a bit of rolling resto with emphasis on making it go stop, go and handle as well as possible while keeping it a stock looking

The cars looking good pal, I haven't been on for a while. I feel your pain with the rust as I'm currently working from the back of the car to the front. I hav rust holes in all the usual places and some I know i haven't found yet..

So long due update. MOT did not go well as you can see the drivers side jacking point support is toast.

Exhaust leak and rear break imbalance.

This is beyond my little mig welder and it is booked in with the garage for 3hrs work to sort the mess you see.

I'm gutted, close to getting rid, but I am going to fight for the bucket, so I am planning to have this fixed then every other month she will go into the garage to get the floor looked at and all the holes with rubber bungs in removed and anything else sorted, like my dodgy repairs.

Just need to find a repair panel now.Image

You can still get them bud, I got a pair from leidinger tuning in Germany. Google them and message them from their website. It didn't take long to get them

I can't remember bud, it was about 30 to 40ish euros each and there was the postage from Germany as well. I'm just learning to weld and I couldn't make a panel that complicated so I was happy to pay that if it means all I need to do is plug or seam weld them on when I get to that. My car has all the known rotten spots.
