Hi,

Many years ago i was member on here but i can't even remember my username!. That was back when as i teenager i dreamed of owning a Calibra b t could nveer afford the insurance!!.

Now on the wroing side of 30 i had a mad moment a couple of years ago and bought an SE8 i spotted on Autotrader, so i thought i'd say Hi!

She's a 1997 SE8, just rolling up to 52K (was only 48 on the clock when i bought it). Mainly one mature lady owner for 14 odd years with full vauxhall history.

Nearly as new condition, all I've done is remove the cassette tape storage box and change the stock radio!

Needless to say she's not my daily driver and spends most of the winter in the garage and doesn't even get driven in the salt. As much as i love her sometimes in the way a bit too much.

Anyway here she is when i bought her (i've since put some new centre badges on)

and now........ treadted her to some paint treatment after 19 odd years. Clay, two lots of compound, pre wax polish and two coatsof wax. Wish i'd bought a DA!!!!

I'm considering it! You'd welcome a standard one on the stand?

Not sure to sell this year or not, as much as it pains me to say so :?

good examples are getting harder to find now, you'll only regret it if you did get shot of it

Several people have said that but it fights for space in the garage over the winter :(
