Decent paint job with decent price

Been thinking of getting my silver calibra re painted but i have no idea what would be involved prep wise and how much it roughly going to cost me if i get someone to do all the work needing done does any one know what ball park price i should looking at.List of things needing done are dents need fixing rear arch's will need cutting out as to far gone and there is rust on nearly every panel

Has no one really got no idea's on this matter lol was hoping to have it done before i start taking it to show's this year any local painters out there fancy the job lol

Not a Calibra but I had my MK2 Cav painted 18 months ago, at a Merc/Audi approved shop, and it cost £1500 (500 invoice plus 1000 cash). It was fully preped before it got there. To get the whole job done properly at full, rather than mates rates, must be £3000.

if i was painting a car that i was building to keep as a show car i would be towing it to Ashinton to Graham Steva's mate if it wasnt a show car there are plenty of good painters around just make sure you get some customer feed back before hand

as for price show car £3000 and £1000 up wards for a other

Want to get mine done next year, think is going to have to go up north.

I got mine done 3 to 4 years ago by a local guy when I asked to look at some of his work he showed me a focus st in red it looked absolutely mint so took mine in as a full car paid 2000 cash not going via the books and he killed it do be careful were you take it

After seeing stevas cars I know where mines going next time mate and that's graham's in Ashington

I got a quote from a good bodyshop near me when my BMW got keyed up & for a respray through the books was £3k + VAT.

The guy I know there said for cash he'd do it for £1.5k but he'd need the car for a few weeks as he'd fit it in around other jobs.
