The fleabay led rings look better..as the neon ones are glass...i had them on my old 8v one cracked a few months after fitting..mabe due to thermal shock...from the halogen bulbs or early starts in winter.

If you get led ones you could add SMD chips to brighten them up more.

The CFL type seemed way too fragile so going with the LED type, even brighter :D

Great! :naughty:

Using standard super glue the rings won't stick to the shiny metal! Guess I'm gonna need proper Metal super glue?

Buying clear silicone today to seal the lens so will run a line around the rings too!

They certainly are bright, I've ended up super gluing a ring of cardboard to the back of the ring, then that to the headlight, which isn't metal after all! Magnet doesn't stick to it but meter reads 0 ohms across it!?

I've used 60 and 70mm.

Image resizer tool for W7/8/10 or just create a Photobucket account, upload your pictures to that & then copy/paste the IMG links into your forum posts.

Pathetic old style led's in the Sonars! 2 for the entire ring! What a tragic waste of money!
