seat repair

by HOT-ROD » Sat Jun 20, 2015 5:38 pm

The colour on my bolsters has worn through. The seats are still good apart from this. I've been looking at leather dye on ebay just to put the colour back in it.
I was wondering if anybody had used this or knows of anything else that would repair them. The trim is black leather btw.

The Stuff I've been looking at is for seat repairs and isn't supposed to come off the only thing that worries me is if the blacks slightly different and it ruins the seats.

Test it on a small area first or treat the whole seat so it all matches. I spent about 4 days on my cream interior and it looked really good after and if u buff them properly it won't come off on your cloths.

When I did the seats in mine I used a profession leather restorer suitable for home and automitive upholstery. It worked really well and put the colour back in my seats. There was no transfer onto clothes either providing you buff them properly when the product has dried.
