Could they be made from flat aluminium bar, say 3/4mm thick? As I was looking at some on Ebay to make new fuel tank straps out of. And aluminium can be easily bent into shape too.

They need to be rigid so U shaped really
perhaps tubing partially squashed at the ends would do it

I managed to make them out of a piece of flat bar.Luckily enough when
I was over in Oz Eddey gave me a good second hand set.

I have a set of the 4 brackets. I got them from Australia and are mint if you want to get measurements.

If its the 2 metal bars that go from the bracket to the bumper then i have 2 brand new ones for sale
