I think the limited number of calibra owners, confusion on ClubCalibra official versus us and the ever increasing Facebook thing has meant that all sites are slowly declining.

Doesn’t help that Photobucket trashed the internet when they decided to implement a charging model for hosting pics on other sites.

I have tried to rally enthusiasm and even asked for suggestions but we’re a small group, busy with other things and I guess this is a consequence.

It’s a shame because Vauxhall Owners Network is a glowing example of how sites like this can function - but they’re only limited by brands and not by model.

Any thoughts on making this place a daily visit for more people?

100% agree with you Andy Facebook has taken over and it's so much easier to upload pictures etc on to there. I'm off fb again as sick of back stabing bastereds and ppl who think they know it all so I'll be posting on here a bit more than normal

Hi,
I'm not into fb or the like but the fact that we are a small group lends itself to trusting each other and sharing solid info... there's no real bs on this forum and I was reading well before my joined date. Of course everybody has other concerns and life sometimes drags you in other directions. Otherwise I don't think this site is ever going to be a hive of activity but as long as it remains financially viable and the knowledgeable people here take some time to reply to questions and offer some advice and support I'm happy. Being so remote here it's always good to see pics from the club shows and events etc. Cheers

Good, let’s try to make something out of that then - can have social threads as well as calibra related - and there’s less of those anonymous keyboard warriors on such a small group site :)

Thanks for the feedback, I think that’s one of the benefits that you can quickly see new posts, club and show info etc. Things get very easily lost on FB due to their “intelligent” algorithms for showing you what they want and not what you want!

Rich It was you who convinced me to register on fb for the activity and more contact, but I'm totally with you with reference to the crap that comes along with the good stuff.
I have noticed the forum has gone quiet lately.
I do feel it a shame that here is not a overall club or association for all thing calibra!!!
