Power Steering Rack

by gazcallyt » Fri Feb 03, 2012 8:36 pm

Guys,

My steering rack has decided it wants to leak from where the rubber boot is, topped it up and started the engine and watched the boot swell until it forced the fluid out, can these be repaired or is it better just to put another rack on it.
Cheers

Your right there Steve, helped put the last one on five years ago, we ended up sliding it in from under the wheel arch, it ain't a pretty job, oh well looks like its time to do it again.
